To ensure timely and accurate tax preparation, we have established the following guidelines for all clients.
Document Submission Deadlines
• Please submit all tax documents as early as possible
• Clients submitting after designated deadlines may be placed on extension
• Incomplete documentation may delay processing
Response Times
• During peak tax season, response times may be longer than usual
• We prioritize returns based on completion status and filing deadlines
Extensions
• Filing an extension extends the time to file — not the time to pay
• Clients placed on extension will be completed after the April deadline
Communication
• Please upload documents and notices through the secure client portal
• Avoid sending sensitive information via email when possible
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during the busy filing season and are committed to providing accurate and professional service to every client.
Providing complete and accurate documentation helps ensure your return is prepared efficiently and correctly.
Common documents include:
• W-2 forms
• 1099 income (NEC, MISC, INT, DIV, etc.)
• Mortgage interest (Form 1098)
• Property tax information
• Charitable contributions
• Business income and expenses (if applicable)
Important:
Missing documents may delay your return or require amendments later.
If you are unsure whether something is needed, it’s always best to include it or ask.

Many taxpayers believe that filing an extension gives them more time to pay their taxes. This is a common misconception.
Important Reminder:
An extension gives you additional time to file your return — not additional time to pay.
If you owe taxes:
• Payment is still due by the April deadline
• Interest and penalties may apply to unpaid balances after that date
If you are unsure whether you owe, we recommend contacting our office so we can help estimate your payment.
